Property and Cancelation Policies :
1)Cancel within 15 days before check in and get a 50% refund (applicable only if full payment is made)
2)Cancel within 7 days of your trip and the reservation is non-refundable.
3) You get a full refund if cancellation is done 15 days before your check-in date (minus service charges)
4)In the eventuality of a landslide, snow, or other natural disasters that makes reaching Meena Bagh Shimla impossible, we can give you time-bound dates in the future. (Applicable only if full payment has been made)
5)Please remember we have a limited accommodation therefore we have to keep our cancellation policy non-negotiable.
Terms and Conditions
We have a strict NO NOISE policy.
No noise should reach outdoors please. For this reason kindly keep the doors and windows firmly shut at all times. This will also keep the nosy Rhesus monkeys and insects at bay.
Kindly do not play loud music after 8 p.m. Noise tends to amplify in the quite.Our guests come for tranquillity and Shimla residents are not fully accustomed to noisy travellers.
(If our No Noise policy is violated, the refundable security will be forfeited.
Covid-19 Guidelines :
1)We have segregated spaces for all guests so kindly do not venture into any common areas. The guests would not be expected to linger on the stairs (for photos etc ) while entering and exiting the building.
2) There will be extra bed-linen, towels etc kept in your room for the duration of your stay. There will be no room-service (changing linen, room cleaning) or any other task by which physical distancing is compromised.
3)Kindly ensure that everyone including kids are wearing masks on arrival and departure. Kindly do not linger on the main road (for photos etc) during departure or arrival.
4)Guests are expected to sanitize their hands at the sanitiser at the gate, before entering the building.
5) All guests including children will be thermally scanned during checkin. If a guest is running temperature , he shall be referred to the designated medical facility. (Please remember you are coming to a Green-zone. Hope you will appreciate that for your safety and ours, we have to follow the Covid-19 guidelines strictly.
HOUSE MANUAL
1) Kindly do not tinker with the knobs or electricals.
2) Meena Bagh Shimla is a plastic free zone. Help us keep it that way. Please avoid getting plastic bags, bottles etc. into the compound.
3) We do not provide plastic packaged drinking water. Instead we offer water dispensers with unlimited hot, cold and normal temperature water.
4) Kindly inform us at the time of booking if you are coming with a driver who needs accommodation. We can provide driver’s accommodation at 450 rupees per day per driver.
5) Do also inform us if you are coming with any pets. If yes then Kindly book either the Pahari Cabin or the Himachali Cottage.
6) Smoking is allowed in the balconies only.
7) We would be grateful if guests adhere to the Check Out time (11 a.m.), especially when we have a reservation that day.
8) Breakfast will be served till 10 a.m. only.
9) We would however be happy to offer a late checkout wherever possible. Kindly check with the caretaker about late checkouts.
10)We will also be happy to offer an early check-in, subject to availability. For check-ins before 11 am it will be 200 rupees per hour per room till 2pm.
11) We expect our guests to switch off all electricals, especially radiator heaters, when not in the room.
12) No outside guests or visitors allowed please.
13) We use recycled water for our cisterns. Therefore do not be alarmed if the water is not exactly crystal clear in the pot.
14) We use solar heaters. It can take over two minutes before the hot water to reach the taps.
